Veeson Cast Iron Wafer Type Check Valve is an all purpose Check Valve (NRV). The valves are designed to API 594 and comply with API-598 "Valve Inspection & Testing" standrad. This design has distinct advantages over conventional Swing check Valve.
Stronger, Lighter and Smaller Size :It weights about I/8th weight of conventional valve.
Flexible Installation : Can be installed is horizontal or in vertical line without any special pipe support.
Silent Valve : Water Hammer & Slamming almost eliminated. Lower Pressure Drop: Hence lower energy loss.
The light weight and short face-to-face dimension of valve makes it easy to install between standard gaskets and line flanges.

• Body and Bonnet  Cast with uniform sections, precision machined.
• Body: Permits full swing of disc on downstream side  Lower flow resistance and disc erosion.
• Disc: Internally-hinged No opening on the body, higher integrity.
• Disc secured to hinge using lock nut and pin.
• Disc free to rotate to avoid localized wear.
